Living Legacies Archive

Living Legacies is Gambia’s first traditional music archive set up to document and disseminate the traditional music of West Africa through field recordings, archival footage, photographs and audio recordings. The Living Legacies Archive is an online cultural resource making it accessible to a new generation. It is an initiative that was founded and created by the composer and Kora player, Tunde Jegede and the film- maker and visual artist, Sunara Begum with support of the Prince Claus Fund.
